A RESOLUTION APPROVING OF THE ALCOHOL PERMIT FOR SLIM'S TWO DAYS
FOR TIFFINFEST LOCATED AT THE CITY PARK OF TIFFIN, IOWA EFFECTIVE JULY 9
AND 10, 2010.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Tiffin, Iowa will review and will determine the
granting of the Alcohol Permit requested by the TiffinFest Committee to be located at the City
Park of Tiffin, Iowa.
WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the request and has not discovered any reason to
deny the approval of the Alcohol Permit for Slim's two day one time only permit for TifFinFest.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, the City Council directs the City Clerk to submit for local
authority, approval of permit to the State of Iowa Alcoholic Beverages Division.
On the 23th day of June 2010, at a special meeting of the Tiffin City Council, Tiffin, Iowa.
Couricilperson Chris Ball introduced Resolution 2010-31 and made a motion for
APPROVING OF THE ALCOHOL PERMIT FOR SLIM'S TWO DAYS FOR TIFFINFEST
LOCATED AT THE CITY PARK OF TIFFIN, IOWA EFFECTIVE JULY 9 AND 10, 2010.
Motion seconded by Council person Travis Weigert.
Ayes: Chris Ball, Jim Bartels, Travis Weigert
Nays: None
Absent: Mike Gericke, Mark Petersen
Council members having voted and approved the issuance of the requested alcohol.
permit .
WHEREUPON, Mayor Royce Phillips declared that the RESOLUTION 2010-31
APPROVING OF THE ALCOHOL PERMIT FOR SLIM'S FOR TWO DAYS FOR
TIFFINFEST LOCATED AT THE CITY PARK OF TIFFIN, IOWA EFFECTIVE JULY 9 AND
10, 2010, be adopted and signifies his approval of the same by affixing his signature thereto.
Passed by the City Council on the 23t" day of June 2010 and approved by the Mayor on the
day of June, 2010. 1
