AUTHORIZING DEFERRAL OF PROCESSING FEES FOR THE TOLL ROAD
CORPORATION OF VIRGINIA

WHEREAS, on February 14, 1991 the Toll Road Corporation of Virginia (TRCV) requested that
the town defer required processing fees for the toll road project until July 1, 1991; and
WHEREAS, the Town Council has consistently endorsed and supported the extension of the
Dulles Toll Road to Leesburg; and
WHEREAS, Town Council and town staff recognize the importance of the project for economic
development in Leesburg; and
WHEREAS, the precise amount of processing fees to be charged has not been determined; and
WHEREAS, the TRCV and town staff agree that the total fee will not exceed $40,000; and
WHEREAS, the TRCV received a similar deferral from Loudoun County and is progressing
toward construction of the much needed transpm~ation facility.
THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia as follows:
The processing fees for the Dulles toll road extension to Leesburg are hereby
SECTION I.
deferred.
SECTION II.
SECTION III.
The total amount of fees deferred shall not exceed $40,000.
Full payment of deferred fees will be made within 30 days after the closing date
for permanent construction financing for the Dulles Toll Road extension or September 1, 1991,
day of April
whichever occurs first.
