REGULAR MEETING
NOVEMBER 2, 2004
The Lynwood Public Finance Authority of the City of Lynwood met in a Regular
Meeting at 11330 Bullis Road on the above date at 5:45 p.m.
President Byrd presiding.
Members Pedroza, Rodriguez Santillan, Vasquez, and, Byrd answered roll call.
Also present were Interim Chief Administrative Officer Wang, City Attorney Beltran,
Secretary Hooper and Treasurer Pygatt.
~' Secretary Hooper announced that the agenda had been posted in accordance with the
Brown Act.

CONSENT CALENDAR
All matters listed under the Consent Calendar will be acted upon by one motion affirming
the action recommended on the Agenda. There will be no separate discussion on these
items prior to voting unless members of the Council or staff request specific items be
removed from the Consent Calendar for separate action.
It was moved by Member Pedroza, second by Member Rodriguez to approve the minutes
and receive and file the following item.

Item #5: DEPARTMENT OF HOMELAND SECURITY FUNDING
Councilman pedroza questioned Interim Chief Administrative Officer Wang under the
homeland Security Funding $1.1 billion in grants that they are distributing to the states
and the states to the County. What kind of funding will trickle down if any to the Cities?
Interim Chief Administrative Officer stated at this time staff does not have the detail
information. The state at this point is appropriating funds so we are waiting for per
instruction. When we know more about it the City is defiantly going to be part of the
funds.
It was moved by Member Pedoroza seconded by Member Santillan and carried to receive
and file this report.
ADJOURNMENT
Having no further discussion, it was moved By Member Santillan, seconded by President
Byrd and carried to adjourn the Regular Lynwood Public Finance Authority Meeting at
5:50 p.m.
