APPROVING THE 1995-1996 COI~MUNITY DEVELOPMENT
BLOCK GRANT PROGRAM
~R~A~, the Borough of Carteret receives an annual
allocation from the Middlesex County Housing and
Community Development Board; and
WHEREAS, the Borough of Carteret will receive an
allocation of $85,000.00; and
WHEREAS, the Carteret Community Development Board
held a public hearing on February 8, 1995 to solicit
comments and recommendations from the Board members and
the residents of the Borough of Carteret; and
WHEREAS, the Community Development Board has had
the opportunity to discuss the proposed projects with the
Mayor and Council representatives to the Middlesex County
Housing and Community Development Board;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Mayor and
Council of the Borough of Carteret that it is the
concensus of the Carteret Community Development Board
that the following projects meet the guidelines of the
Citizen's Participation List of Eligible Activities:
HOUSING REHAB/ADMINISTRATION: $63,800.00
VOLUNTEER FIRE DEPT. EQUIPMENT: 10,000.00
HOUSING AUTHORITY SECURITY PROGRAM: 7,000.00
HOUSING AUTHORITY VAN DRIVER: 7,200.00
Adopted this 16th day of February, 1995
and certified as a true copy of the
original on February 17, 1995.
