AUTHORIZING EMERGENCY EXPENDITURES FOR
ROAD AND SEWER REPAIRS
WHEREAS, the Borough Engineer has determined that
an emergency repair was necessary due to damage caused to
the sewer system; and
WHEREAS, the aforesaid damage occurred on a major
thoroughfare, namely Minue Street in the Borough; and
WHEREAS, said repair to the road surface
was authorized as an emergency by the Borough Engineer;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Mayor. and
Council of the Borough of Carteret hereby approves an
emergency expenditure to Marvec Construction Corp. in the
amount of $5,176.80
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Borough may take
all necessary action to recover said expenditure from the
party causing seid damage.
Adopted this 16th day of February, 1995
and certified as a true copy of the
original on February 17, 1995.
