Town Seeks Public Input on Installation of Right-Turn Lane on
Edwards Ferry Road at the Route 15 Bypass
Leesburg, VA (August 4, 2011) – The Town
of Leesburg’s Capital Projects Management
Department is currently accepting public
comments on the proposed capital
improvement project to add a right-turn
lane from eastbound Edwards Ferry Road
onto the southbound Route 15 Bypass. The
project will help relieve traffic congestion at
the intersection.
Citizens interested in finding out more
about the proposed project can review
detailed project information by contacting
Anne Geiger, the Project Manager, at 703-
771-2742 or ageiger@leesburgva.gov.
If concerns raised by citizens during this
public input period are not satisfied, a
citizen may request that the Town hold a public hearing before the Town Council. Any request
to hold a public hearing on this project must be submitted in writing to Ms. Anne Geiger, P.E.,
at Town of Leesburg, 25 West Market Street, Leesburg, VA, by September 2, 2011. If a request
for a public hearing is received, notice of the date, time and place of the public hearing will be
posted in the lobby of the Leesburg Town Hall (25 West Market Street), on the Town’s website
(www.leesburgva.gov) and in the Loudoun Times Mirror newspaper.
