AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING A FIRE PREVENTION GIFT FUND
FOR THE CITY OF GREENCASTLE
WHEREAS, the City of Greencastle, Indiana, receives certain
gifts and donations in regard to Fire Prevention programs; and
WHEREAS, IC 5- 11 -1 -3 provides that a separate account shall
be kept for every fund of any municipality;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the
City of Greencastle, Putnam County, Indiana, that:
Section 1. There is hereby created a gift fund of the City
of Greencastle to be known as the "Fire Prevention Gift Fund ".
Section 2. That the Clerk- Treasurer is hereby authorized
and directed to deposit into such fund all gifts and donations in
regard to fire prevention. All expenditures from said fund for
fire prevention programs must be approved and made in the same
manner as required for other expenditures by the City of
Greencastle.
