AN ORDINANCE VACATING PORTIONS OF ROCKRIDGE
LANE, STEELE AVENUE AND DAYTON STREET IN THE
CITY OF IONA, IDAHO; ALSO VACATING AN
EASEMENT ADJACENT TO ROCKRIDGE LANE;
PARTICULARLY DESCRIBING THE STREETS AND SUCH
EASEMENT; AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE
MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE AND DELIVER
QUITCLAIM DEEDS CONVEYING THE VACATED
EASEMENT AND STREETS TO THE OWNERS OF THE
ADJACENT LAND; PROVIDING FOR EFFECTIVE DATE

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
IONA, IDAHO THAT:
Section 1. A portion of Rockridge Lane located in the Rushton Addition to the City
of Iona, Bonneville County, Idaho, is not used or needed for public purposes. The portion
of such street is more particularly described in Exhibits "A" and "B" attached hereto.
Section 2. The north half of such street, as described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto,
is hereby vacated in favor of the following landowner:

Reserving, however, a ten foot (10') wide utility easement along the southerly boundary of
said vacated street, said utility easement to be used for the construction, or maintenance of
water line, sewer lines, gas lines or other public utility lines.
Section 3. The south half of such street, as described in Exhibit "B" attached hereto,
is hereby vacated in favor of the following landowner:
Eric Troy and Marci Ann Andersen

Iona, Idaho 83427
Reserving, however, a ten foot (10') wide utility easement along the northerly boundary of
said vacated street, said utility easement to be used for the construction, or maintenance of
water line, sewer lines, gas lines or other public utility lines.
Section 4. The street vacations in sections 2 and 3 above, shall be further subject to
a reservation of an irrigation and public utility easement over and across the real property
described in Exhibit "C" attached hereto and shall further be subject to a reservation of
public utility easement over and across the real property described in Exhibit "D" attached
hereto.
Section 5. The existing public utility easements on the north and south sides of the
portion of Rockridge Lane vacated pursuant to sections 1 through 3 inconclusive above, are
also not needed for public purposes. The public utility easement located on the north side
of said vacated street, as described in Exhibit ` E" attached hereto shall be and hereby is
vacated in favor of the land owner mentioned in section 2. The public utility easement
located on the south side of said vacated street, as described in Exhibit "F" attached hereto
is hereby vacated in favor of the land owner mentioned in section 3 hereof.
Section 6. A portion of Steele Avenue located in Block 12, of the original plat of the
Village of Iona and Denning Addition to the City of Iona, Bonneville County, Idaho, is not
used or needed for public purposes. The portion of such street is more particularly described
in Exhibit "G" attached hereto.

Section 7. The portion of Steele Avenue described in Exhibit "G" attached hereto,
is hereby vacated in favor of the following landowner:
Eric Paul and Pattie Rue Horman

Section 8. A portion of Dayton Street located in the Denning Addition to the City of
Iona, Bonneville County, Idaho, is not used or needed for public purposes. The portion of
such street is more particularly described in Exhibit "H" attached hereto.
Section 9. The portion of Dayton Street described in Exhibit "H" attached hereto, is
hereby vacated in favor of the following landowner:
Kevin James and Renae Oswald
5411 E. Free Avenue
Iona, Idaho 83427
Section 10. Pursuant to Idaho Code, Section 50-311, Mayor and City Clerk are hereby
authorized and directed to execute and deliver Quitclaim Deeds conveying said vacated
streets and easements to said owners.
Section 11. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage,
execution and publication in the manner provided by law.
