Member Byrd, Rea, Reyes, Richards, Sanchez answered the roll call. Also present were Executive Director Davis, City Attorney Thever, Secretary Hooper and Treasurer Pygatt. Secretary Hooper announced the Agenda had been duly posted in accordance with The Brown Act. PUBLIC ORALS NONE PUBLIC ORAL COMMUNICATIONS -AGENDA ITEMS ONLY NONE ITEMS FOR CONSIDERATION It was moved by Member Byrd, seconded by Member Richards and carried to approve the following minutes: a) Regular Meeting, May 4, ] 999 b) Regular Meeting, May 18, 1999 Items #2 Warrants It was moved by Member Reyes, seconded by Member Richards to adopt: LRA RESOLUTION NO. 99.25 ENTITLED: "A RESOLUTION OF THE t-, LYNWOOD REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD, ', CALIFORNIA, ALLOWING AND APPROVING THE DEMANDS AND WARRANTS THEREFOR". ROLL CALL: AYES: MEMBER BYRD, REA, REYES, RICHARDS, SANCHEZ NONE: NONE ABSENT: NONE REGULAR MEETING Item # 3 Use of the Lynwood Redevelopment Agency Low and Moderate Income Housing Fund To Assist In The City of Lynwood's Purchase and Rehabilitation Program. It was moved by Member Richards, seconded by Member Byrd to adopt Resolution and direct Community Development Director Chicots to prepare a staff report prior to allocation of funding: LRA RESOLUTION NO. 99.26 ENTITLED: "A RESOLUTION OF THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD APPROVING THE ESTABLISHMENT OF A REVOLVING LOAN FUND IN THE AMOUNT OF $300,000 FROM THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY LOW AND MODERATE INCOME HOUSING FUND FOR THE PURPOSE OF CREATING A INTERNAL FINANCING VEHICLE FOR THE CITY OF LYNWOOD'S .~i PURCHASE AND REHABILITATION PROGRAM". It was moved by Member Richards, seconded by Member Byrd to adopt the Resolution and direct the Community Development Director Chicots to prepare a staff report for other funding sources and report back to the Agency: LRA RESOLUTION NO. 99. 27 ENTITLED: "A RESOLUTION OF THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD APPROVING THE UTILIZATION OF THE PURCHASE AND REHABILITATION PROGRAM TO ACQUIRE THE ABANDONED PROPERTY LOCATED AT 11434 STATE STREET FROM THE DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT ". Executive Director Davis explained SB859 as passed the Senate Appropriations Committee which was amended prior to being heard. The next step is to have the bill heard on the Senate Floor.
