RESOLUTION NO. 67 -781
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF TEMPLE CITY REQUIRING APPLICANTS
FOR STATE OUTDOOR ADVERTISING PERMITS TO
APPLY FOR A CERTIFICATE OF ZONING COMPLIANCE
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY DOES ORDAIN:
SECTION 1. The City Council does find and determine that
the legislature in enacting Article 4.5, Chapter 2 of Division 3
of the Business and Professions Code (Section 5250, et seq.) has
enabled the City to require applicants for State Outdoor Adver-
tising displays, when such proposed displays are located within
this City, to first apply for a Certificate of Zoning Compliance.
SECTION 2. The City Council hereby resolves that any
applicant within the meaning of Section 5250, et seq. of the
Business and Professions Code shall be required to apply for a
Certificate of Zoning Compliance as therein set forth.
SECTION 3. The City Planner is hereby designated as the
proper officer with whom such applications shall be filed.
SECTION 4. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of
this Resolution and is directed to forward a certified copy of
this Resolution to the State Director of Public Works.
