AUTHORIZING SETTLEMENT IN THE MATTER OF THE
BOROUGH OF CARTERET VS ABAZIA AND T & M
ASSOCIATES
BE IT RESOLVED that Special Litigation Counsel, Joseph P.
Schiappa, is hereby authorized to enter into a settlement
of all claims of the Borough of Carteret in the matter of
Borough of Carteret vs. Abazia and T & M Associates,
Docket Number L-8896-90, for the sum of One Hundred
Fifteen Thousand Dollars ($115,000.00); and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor of the Borough of
Carteret is hereby authorized to execute the general
release and any other documents necessary to effectuate
said settlement.
BBE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that Resolution #95-49 dated
February 2, 1995 is hereby superceded.
Adopted this 16th day of February, 1995
