AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AUTHORIZING THE
MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT WITH THE AUSTIN
PETERS GROUP, INC., IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $38,890.00 FOR A
COMPENSATION AND CLASSIFICATION PLAN REVIEW.
WHEREAS, The Austin Peters Group, Inc., has been selected as the firm best qualified
to provide professional services related to a classification and
compensation plan review of the employees of the City of Jefferson.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Austin Peters Group, Inc., is hereby approved as the best
qualified firm to provide professional services and its proposal is hereby accepted.
Section 2. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to execute an
agreement with The Austin Peters Group, Inc., for a compensation and classification
plan review.
Section 3. The agreement shall be substantially the same in form and content as
that agreement attached hereto as Exhibit A.
Section 4. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after the date
of its passage

The RFP was advertised in News Tribune, posted on the city web site, and sent to eight additional
firms that did not respond.
