HomeMy Public PortalAboutM2000-03-07-LRALYNWOOD REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY, MARCH 7, 2000 The Redevelopment Agency of the City of Lynwood met in a Regular Session, 11330 Bullis Road, on the above date at 6:24 p.m. Chairman Byrd presiding. Members Rea, Reyes, Richards, Sanchez, and Byrd answered roll call. Also present were Executive Director Davis, Agency Counsel Thever, Secretary Hooper, and Treasurer Pygatt. ~~ Secretary Hooper announced the Agenda had been posted in accordance with The Brown Act. PUBLIC ORAL COMMUNICATIONS -AGENDA ITEMS ONLY None PUBLIC ORAL COMMUNICATIONS None ITEMS FOR CONSIDERATION Item #1: Minutes of previous meeting It was moved by Member Sanchez, seconded by Member Reyes and carried to approve the following minutes: Regular Meeting of February 15, 2000 Special Meeting of February 22, 2000 Special Meeting of February 28, 2000 Item #2: Warrant register It was moved by Member Reyes, seconded by Member Richards to adopt: LRA RESOLUTION NO. 2000.17 ENTITLED "A RESOLUTION OF THE LYNWOOD REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF LYNWOOD, CALIFORNIA, i ALLOWING AND APPROVING THE DEMAND AND WARRANTS THEREFORE". ROLL CALL: AYES: MEMBER REA, REYES, RICHARDS, SANCHEZ, BYRD NOES: NONE ABSENT: NONE REGULAR ITEMS Item #3: Review of the development concept submitted by Chris Vovos for the development of a fast food restaurant and a convenience store with service pumps It was moved by Member Rea, seconded by Member Sanchez and carried to: DIRECT STAFF TO FORMAT A PLAN THAT IS COMPATIBLE TO THE AREA AND TO APPROVE THE CONCEPT DEVELOPMENT. ROLL CALL: AYES: MEMBERS REA, REYES, RICHARDS, SANCHEZ, BYRD NOES: NONE ABSENT: NONE Chairman Byrd recessed LRA at 6:29 to hold item until developer arrived. t 017 I&5. 2000.17 terns ern t~nvis ,~1 Item #5: Comprehensive Housing Service (CHS) payment for consultant service It was moved by Member Reyes, seconded by Member Richards to adopt: ~. 2000.18 LRA RESOLUTION NO. 2000.18 ENTITLED: "A RESOLUTION OF THE ~ LYNWOOD REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY APPROVING THE PAYMENT OF $46,328.75 TO COMPREHENSIVE HOUSING SERVICES FOR HOUSING RELATED CONSULTING SERVICE PROVIDED BY THE CONSULTANT TO THE CITY OF LYNWOOD". ROLL CALL: AYES: MEMBERS REA, REYES, RICHARDS, BYRD NOES: NONE ABSENT: NONE ABSTAIN: MEMBER SANCHEZ Agency reconvened at 7:01 Item #4: Exclusive Negotiating Agreement (extension) Mr. Blake -Whited & Associates explained to the Agency Members the need to extend the agreement, which is to continue marketing the project with a big box type tenant.
