AUTHORIZING AN AGREEMENT WITH FIRST POTOMAC DEVELOPMENT
COMPANY FOR A TEMPORARY SAI.ES INFORMATION CENTER
WHEREAS, First Potomac Development Company has requested to use approximately 9,800
square feet of town-owned property dedicated as the northeast quadrant of the future Battlefield Parkway
and Lawson Road;and
WHEREAS, First Potomac Development Company intends to use the site for a temporary sales
information center during the first year of their single-family home sales in the Kincaid Forest Planned
Development; and
WHEREAS, First Potomac Development Company will provide the necessary parking area,
signage and landscaping for the center, consistent with the Town Code:
THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia as follows:
The Town Manager is authorized to issue a Trailer Permit and Right-of-Way Permit for the use
of approximately 9,800 square feet of town property by First Potomac Development Company upon the
demonstration that the proposed use will meet all requirements of the Town Code and safety standards.
The terms of the Permit shall be twelve months with a unilateral cancellation by either party with thirty
days notice. The permit may be renewed by the Town Manager on an annual basis.
