AUTHORIZING THE TOWN MANAGER TO ASSIST CITIZEN VOLUNTEERS
FOR HURRICANE ANDREW DISASTER RELIEF
W-I-IE~, Ginny C,,mm{ngS, a Leesburg resident, appeared before the Town Council on
September 8, 1992, to request assistance in providing disaster relief for Hurricane Andrew victims; and
VffI-IEREAS, Ms. C, mmlngs requested that the town recognize local volunteers and contributors
with certificates of appreciation; and
V~rIE~, Ms. Cummings is working diligently to coordinate Leesburg's relief efforts:
THEREFOKE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia as follows:
The town m,_nager is authorized to assist Ms. O,mmlrlgs in her efforts to recognize volunteers and
contributors to Hurricane Andrew relief efforts.
