A RESOLUTION: PRESENTED November 10, 1992 92-226 ADOPTED November 10~ 1992 GRANTING PERMISSION TO THE NATIONAL TRUST FOR HISTORIC PRESERVATION TO REPRINT A DRAWING FROM THE H-2 DESIGN GUIDELINES WItEREAS, the National Trust For Historic Preservation is a national organization whose mission is to foster an appreciation of the diverse character and meaning of American cultural heritage and to preserve and revitalize the livability of our communities by leading the nation in saving American's historic environments; and WHEREAS, the National Trust has requested permission to reprint a drawing from the H-2 Corridor Design Guidelines to illustrate creative solutions to addressing problems of urban design in America; and WHEREAS, the publication of the design guidelines in a national booklet, entitled the Information Series, would promote the urban design initiatives of the Town of Leesburg as well as enhancing the prestige of the Town; and WHEREAS, no portion of the H-2 Design Guidelines may be reproduced without prior written permission of the Town of Leesburg as stated in the guidelines document: THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia, as follows: Permission is granted to the National Trust for Historic Preservation for reprinting portions of the H-2 Design Guidelines in their publication subject to giving the appropriate credit to the Town.
