LYNWOOD REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY
SPECIAL MEETING
AUGUST 9, 2001
The Redevelopment Agency of the City of Lynwood met in a Special Meeting at
11330 Bullis Road on the above date at 11:20 a.m.
Chairman Richards presiding.
Members Byrd, Rea, Sanchez and Richards answered roll call.
Member Reyes was absent.
Also present were Executive Director Davis, Assistant Agency Cpunsel Calsada,
and Secretary Hooper.
Treasurer Pygatt was absent.
Secretary Hooper announced that the agenda had been posted in accordance
with the Brown Act.

Item #1: STRATEGIC PLAN AND IMPLEMENTATION PROGRAM

i ~ ynwood Shine 2001 Expo:
Project Manager Adriana Richards gave the Members a brief presentation on the
Lynwood Shine 2001 Expo. Stated she is in the process of printing the envelopes
and the colorful water bills.
Chairman Richards stated he would like to add the City's Logo on the envelopes,
and he would also like to have the water bill state that there will be free prizes,
giveaways, and games.
Project Manager Adriana Richards stated that she would print out a flyer for the
Lynwood Shine 2001 Expo, and have it print out in the Penny Saver, explained
that this would help to inform all of the Lynwood residents of the up coming
event.
Executive Director Davis stated he would like to have a raffle for the Lynwood
Shine 2001 Expo, and to also invite all of the Lynwood Businesses to come to
the Expo and talk to the community in regards to their business.
Member Reyes arrived at 11:30 a.m.

j ~, President Richards stated he would also like to have a variety of candies,
' popcorn, and games for the Expo. Would like for the Expo to be a lot of fun for
everyone.

Member Rea stated he would like to have a skydiver for the Lynwood Shine 2001
Expo.

Item #2: Closed Session
With respect to every item of business to be discussed in Closed Session
pursuant to Section 54956.9:
A: Conference with Legal Counsel -Anticipated Litigation
It was moved by Member Reyes, seconded by Member Byrd and carried to
recess to Closed Session at 12:05 p.m.
Members reconvened at 12:25 p.m.
Assistant Agency Counsel Calsada stated Council met on the aforementioned
matters and stated on:

ADJOURNMENT
adjourn the meeting at 12:30 p.m.
