WATER RATES
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF MCCALL RELATING TO UTILITY SERIVES;
DEFINING WATER CUSTOMER CLASSES; SETTING THE RATES FOR WATER
SERVICE AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City provides water services to users both inside and outside the
corporate limits of the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF MCCALL THAT:
Section 1 Water Classifications: All users of the water system of the City of McCall
are hereby classified as follows:
Class A — Private Residences
Class B — Industrial and Commercial Users
Class C — Unmetered Accounts
Section 2 Water Charges: The City of McCall shall charge and the user shall pay
monthly for water service the following rates:
A. For each Class A user, a base rate of $38.70 per month per equivalent
residential unit, which includes no volume of water.
For each Class B user, a base rate of $42.70 per month per equivalent
residential unit, which includes no volume of water.
For each Class A and B user, there shall be a consumption rate in addition
to the base rate, in the amount of $1.04 per thousand gallons of water
delivered to the premises.
B. For each Class C user, a base rate of $68.32 per month per equivalent
residential unit.
Section 3
Equivalent residential unit ("BRU"), as that term is used in this Section 2,
means the capacity of the connection to deliver water, measured according
to the size for the installed meter. The number of ERU's for any given
connection shall be determined from the following table:

Where the structure(s) on the premises served is one or more multifamily
residences, or is one or more multi -tenant business buildings, or is a
townhouse or condominium development, rates shall apply separately to
each of the individual residential or commercial units in the structure(s).
In the case of residential uses, "unit" in the Section 3 shall have the same
meaning as in Title 3 of the McCall City Code. In the case of commercial
or industrial uses, the term "unit" shall mean a structure or portion of a
structure. In case of doubt, and pending further action of Council, the City
Manager shall have the authority to determine how many units are at a
location and the equivalent residential units appertaining to such a given
unit. The decision of the City Manager is final unless appealed to Council
by the affected party within five days after receipt of the City Manager's
decision.
This resolution shall be in full force and effect on and after the 1st day of
October 2001 or following the date of the reading closest to that date with
respect to the given connection, for billing it tht i tuber billing cycle.
