RESOLUTION NO. 68 -812
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TEMPLE CITY REQUESTING SERVICE FROM THE REDEMPTION
AND STREET BOND DIVISION OF THE TAX COLLECTOR'S
OFFICE OF THE COUNTY OF LOS ANGELES PURSUANT TO
THE GENERAL SERVICES AGREEMENT
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY, CALIFORNIA,
DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The City Council of the City of Temple City,
pursuant to the terms and provisions of the General Services Agree-
ment dated May 25, 1960, and entered into by and between the County
of Los Angeles, and the City of Temple City, does hereby request
the County of Los Angeles, through the Redemption and Street Bond
Division of the Tax Collector's Office, to provide administrative
services for the City of Temple City.
SECTION 2. Whereas, the City of Temple City has from
time to time sold bonds for public purposes; and
Whereas, it has been determined by the City Council of
the City of Temple City that by requesting the County to administer
the bond collection program of the City it would be of benefit to
the City.
SECTION 3. It is hereby requested that the Board of
Supervisors or its designated agent or agency approve and authorize
the performance of services requested in this Resolution, subject
to the terms and conditions set forth in the General Services Agree-
ment dated May 25, 1960.
SECTION 4. The City Clerk is directed to forward a
certified copy of this Resolution to the Clerk of the Board of
Supervisors, the Tax Collector's Office, and to the Chief Adminis-
trative Office, County of Los Angeles.
