RESOLUTION DIRECTING THE CLERK TO PUBLISH NOTICE OF HEARING
ON THE ADOPTION OF THE PROPOSED "CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE
CITY OF TIFFIN, IOWA."
WHEREAS, the Council has caused to be prepared and filed with the City Clerk copies of the
proposed "CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF TIFFIN, IOWA, " and,
WHEREAS, an official copy of the proposed `CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF
TIFFIN, IOWA," is now on file for public inspection in the office of the City Clerk of Tiffin,
Iowa,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that a public hearing thereon will be held at the
Springmier Library on the 9th day of June, 2010 at 6:30p.m. at which time and place the City
Council will consider arguments for or against the adoption of the proposed `CODE OF
ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF TIFFIN, IOWA," or amendments thereto.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be authorized and directed to cause to be
published notice of such hearing one time not less than four (4) days nor more than twenty
(20) days prior to the date herein established for hearing as by law provided.

RESOLUTION 2010-19
A RESOLUTION TO'ESTABLISH AND APPROVE PROCEDURES FOR�CLEAR CREEK
AMANA SCHOOL DISTRICT FOR THE USE OF City of Tiffin, IOWA ATHLETIC FIELDS
WHEREAS, the City of Tiffin (City) extends the use of the City'Athletic Fields for use by
the Clear Creek Amana (CCA) School District. "
WHEREAS, the City of Tiffin will extend the use of the City Athletic Fields without fees to
CCA when the use is scheduled `at times that do not interfere with scheduled events of teams
that have paid a fee for the scheduled reservations of said athletic fields and when city staff,
equipment and supplies are not utilized or used for CCA events.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the City will access fees for the use of City Athletic M
Fields by CCA when City'staff , equipment, or supplies are utilized, at the same rates that"
other Tiffin and CCA affiliated teams reserve scheduled use of the City Athletic Fields.

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, all CCA. reserved .use of City Athletic Fields must be
scheduled with City designated Parks staff under the direction of the Public Works Director
and all procedures for,feld agreements and Certificates of Insurance be followed. _
