Call to Order
The Plumbing Board of Review & Examiners met March 8, 2016, in the Small Conference Room
of the John G. Christy Municipal Building. The meeting was called to order by Richard Hunt at
4:15 p.m. A quorum was present.
Approval of Minutes for the December 15, 2015 Meeting
A motion was made by Jerry Raithel and seconded by David Wright to approve the minutes of
the December 15, 2015 meeting. Motion passed unanimously.
Topics to Discuss
a. Submit Applicants Requiring Journeyman & Master Licenses
• Derek Backes was approved to take the Master Plumbing test.
• Michael Pohlmann was approved to take the Journeyman Plumbing test.
• Mark Mealy was approved to take the Masters Plumbing test.
• Casey Kempker was approved to take the Journeyman Plumbing test.
• James McGuire's accreditations were accepted toward qualifying for a Jefferson City
Master Plumbing license.
b. City Council Accepted Bill 2015-97, Ordinance 15486 Amending the City Code Chapter
8, Section 8-3 and Section 8-5, by Establishing Requirements for the Supervision of
Apprentices by Dual -Licensed Individuals
• Rick Hunt informed the Board that the City Council has accepted their request and
the City Code has been amended.
c. Progress of Proposed Building Code Review Ad -Hoc Committee
• Rick Hunt informed the Board that an Ad -Hoc Committee has been established by
the City Council and Sub -Committees are being formed for the proposed Building
Code review.
Old Business
There was discussion on finding a method of accessing green sewer lateral trace wire at two-
way cleanout.
New Business
There was none.
Adjournment
With no further business, the meeting adjourned at 5:10 p.m.
