RESOLUTION NO. 68 -819
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF TEMPLE CITY, CALIFORNIA, APPOINTING A
MEMBER OF SAID COUNCIL OF SAID CITY TO THE
CITY SELECTION COMMITTEE PURSUANT TO PART 3
OF DIVISION 10 OF THE PUBLIC UTILITIES CODE
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY, CALIFORNIA,
DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:"
SECTION 1. That pursuant to the Southern California Rapid
Transit District Law, being Part 3 of Division 10 of the Public
Utilities Code, Paul W. Beckley, a member of said City Council, is
hereby appointed as a member of the City Selection Committee.
SECTION 2. That the within Resolution shall become opera-
tive and the appointment made by Section 1 hereof shall be effective
as of April 16, 1968.
SECTION 3. That immediately after the effective date of
the appointment hereby made, the City Clerk shall without delay for-
ward a certified copy of this Resolution, together with notice of the
appointment hereby made, to the Secretary of State, and a certified
copy of the Resolution to the Secretary of the Southern California
Rapid Transit District.
SECTION 4. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of
this Resolution, shall cause the action of the City Council in adopt-
ing the same to be entered in the official minutes of said City Coun-
cil and shall retain this Resolution, duly signed and executed by the
proper City Officials, in the official records of said City.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 7th day of May, 1968.

California, do hereby certify Resolution No. 68 -819 was duly approved
by the City Council of the City of Temple City, California, at a
regular meeting held on May 7, 1968, by the following roll call vote:
AYES: Councilmen- Beckley, Merritt, Tyrell, Briggs
NOES: Councilmen- None
ABSENT: Councilmen- Harker
