COUNCIL “PRE-MEETING” WORK SESSION, MAY 16, 2016
CALL TO ORDER
The City Council “Pre-Meeting” of May 16, 2016, was convened at 5:45 P.M. by Mayor
Carrie Tergin.
ATTENDANCE
The following Council Members were present when the meeting convened:
Present: Branch, Costales, Graham, Henry, Hussey, Mihalevich, Prather,
Schreiber, Ward, and Wiseman
Absent: None
A quorum was present.
DISCUSSION OF AGENDA ITEMS
Councilman Graham stated he would like to make a brief announcement about this
year’s Lion’s Club annual peanut sales fundraiser event.
Discussion was held regarding the Code requirement that speakers sign up ahead of
time to be allowed to speak at Council meetings. A signup sheet is posted at the
Council Chambers door and if a speaker is not signed up when the Council Meeting is
convened, City Counselor Hilpert explained the process for the Council to suspend its
rules to allow a speaker not on that list to speak.

The meeting adjourned at 5:57 P.M.
