AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF IONA , IDAHO ;
AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 290-08-23 , THE
APPROPRIATIONS ORDINANCE FOR THE FISCAL YEAR
BEGINNING OCTOBER 1, 2023 , AND ENDING
SEPTEMBER 30, 2024 ; APPROPRIATING GRANT MONIES
RECEIVED AND ACCURATE AMOUNTS FOR FUND
BALANCE CARRYOVERS BY THE CITY OF IONA , IDAHO ,
IN THE SUM OF $2,105 ,195.47 AND PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DA TE .
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF IONA ,
IDAHO THAT :
Section 1 . Amendment of Fiscal Year 2024 Appropriations. Ordinance No.
290-08-23 , the appropriations ordinance for the City of Iona , Idaho , for the fiscal year
commencing October 1, 2023 , and ending September 30 , 2024 , be and the same is hereby amended
as follows:
That additional revenues for the general and water funds in the amount of
$2 ,105 ,195.47 be included from grant monies received and actual fund balance
carryov ers , and that the additional sum of $2 ,105 ,195.47 be appropriated from the
general and water funds; to be used for Capital Improvements in the City of Iona.
Thus , the expenditures from the general fund will be $3 ,601 ,279.81 ; expenditures
from the water fund will be $1 ,213 ,608.66 ; and total expenses shall be
$4 ,814 ,888.47.
Section 2. Effective Date. This Ordinance shall become effecti ve upon its passage ,
execution , and publication in the manner provided by law.
PASSED BY THE COUNCIL AND APPROVED BY THE MAYOR this 27 th day of
February 2024 .
