APRIL 11, 2016
CALL TO ORDER
The meeting was convened at 5:30 p.m. in the City Council Chambers, City Hall, 320 E. McCarty
Street.
ATTENDANCE
Present: Larry Benz, Tom Reichard, Jason Hoffman, Patrick Lynn, John Schnitzler,
Bill Betts, Larry Linthacum, Betty Hagenhoff; and Sam Bushman
Absent: Seth Bauman, Darryl Winegar
Mr. Bushman called the meeting to order.
Election of a Chairman and Vice Chairman
Mr. Bushman asked for nominations for Chairman. Mr. Betts nominated Mr. Bushman. Mr.
Buschman requested that it not be him. Mr. Schnitzler nominated Mr. Betts. There being no
further nominations, a vote was taken and passed 9-0 to appoint Mr. Betts as Chairman.
Nominations were then taken for Vice Chairman. Mr. Benz nominated Mr. Linthacum. There
being no further nominations a vote was taken and passed 9-0 to appoint Mr. Linthacum as
Vice Chairman.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
A motion was made by Mr. Benz to approve the minutes of the October 28, 2013 meeting,
which was seconded by Mr. Bushman. The motion passed 9 -0.
REPORT BY MR. HILPERT
Drew Hilpert, City Counselor, reported that the public hearing had not been property noticed in
the paper and therefor the public hearing could not be held. He advised the Commission that
he and staff would utilize this time to attempt to address some of the concerns they ha ve heard
about the plan.
NEXT MEETING SCHEDULED.
The Commission discussed the issue of the next meeting and by consensus set the meeting for
May 31st at 5:30 p.m.
ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business the meeting adjourned.
