village manager could tentatively include the plan in the budget for the coming
year, Mr. Anderson was akked to check and give an opinion on whether or not
the village could adopt such a plan without a special Bill fror the legislature.
There being no further business before the meeting on, rotien of KP. Stokely,

The Council of Hal Harbour Village met at the Village Hall, Monday,
June 21, 1954 at 8:00 o'clock P. M.
There were present: Dr. Leonard and Messrs. Beatty and Stokely.
Absents Messrs. Brown and Collins
Also present were W. H. Webb, Village Manager and Mary Wetterer, Village
Clerk,
read.
The minutes of the previous meeting of May 17, 1954 were approved as
Mr. Webb read to the council a letter from Mr. Barger stating that his
company could not write the pension plan by holding the money in escrow until
the Legislature would pass a Bill setting the plan in motion. Mr. Webb also
read a letter from Mr. Gautier stating that he would be willing to introduce
