HomeMy Public PortalAboutOrd. 285 - Sale of Certain City Property 10 • CITY OF McCALL, IDAHO ORDINANCE NO. 285 AN ORDINANCE EXPRESSING THE INTENTION OF THE CITY OF McCALL, IDAHO, TO SELL CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY BELONGING TO SUCH CITY AND NOT USED FOR PUBLIC PURPOSES ; SETTING A DATE FOR SUCH SALE; DESCRIBING SAID REAL PROPERTY; SETTING A PUBLIC HEARING UPON SUCH PROPOSITION; AND SETTING FORTH THE TERMS UPON WHICH SUCH SALE SHALL BE MADE. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF McCALL, IDAHO, AS FOLLOWS : Section 1. The City Council of the City of McCall, Idaho, does hereby express its intention to sell certain real property of the City of McCall, which said property is not used for public purposes and is more particularly described as follows , to-wit: Lot One ( 1) and Lots Five (5 ) thru Nine (9 ) , inclusive, Fairway Subdivision of the City of McCall , Idaho, according to the official plat thereof on file and of record in the office of the Recorder of Valley County, Idaho. Section 2. In the event that no objection is made to said sale in the form and in the manner as provided by law, such sale shall be held at 2 : 00 o'clock P.M. , Saturday, July 26, 1969 , at the site of said real property; provided, however, in the further event that all of said lots are not sold at the time and place aforesaid, the unsold lots shall be offered for sale as hereinafter set forth at 2 : 00 o' clock P.M. , Saturday August 9, 1969 , at the site of said real property. Section 3. A public hearing shall be held upon the above proposition which said hearing shall be held at the City Hall in the City of McCall, Idaho, on Monday, the 5th day of May, 1969 , at the hour of 7: 00 o'clock P.M. of such day. Section 4. Such lots shall be sold separately at public auction at not less than the appraised value thereof and may be sold for cash or upon contract as provided by Section 50-1406, Idaho Code. Copies of the appraised value of such lots are on file in the office of the City Clerk and are available for public inspection. The City shall re- serve the right to reject any and all bids.
