HomeMy Public PortalAboutResolution 01-01 Public Record Request FeeResolution 01-1 Public Records Fee Schedule A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MCCALL, IDAHO, RELATING TO THE FEES TO BE CHARGED FOR PROCESSING PUBLIC RECORDS REQUESTS; AND CHARGING SUCH FEES EFFECTIVE JANUARY 11, 2001. WHEREAS, Section 1-9-9(A)(4), McCall City Code, allows for fees to be charged for a public records request; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MCCALL, Valley County, Idaho that: Section 1: Fees. The fees to be paid to the City in advance for processing a Public Records Request under McCall City Code Title 1, Chapter 9, shall be: (A) Copying a record $ .10 per page (B) Labor and administrative costs as defined $25.00 per hour in Idaho Code §9-338 (8)(a). Such costs shall be assessed when: 1) the request is for more than one hundred (100) pages of paper records; or 2) the request includes records from which nonpublic information must be redacted; or 3) the request requires more than two (2) hours of labor to locate and copy such documents. (C) Advanced payment for a computer tape, computer disc, microfilm or other similar analogous record system containing public information as defined in Idaho Code §9-338 (8)(a) Cost of duplication Resolution 01-1 January 11, 2001 Page 1 of 2 Section 2: EFFECTIVE DATES. The above fees came into effect on January 11, 2001 and shall remain in effect until further action by the City Council. Passed and approved this 11th day of January 2001.
