AN ORDINANCE FIXING THE SALARIES OF THE ELECTED OFFICERS OF TH
CITY OF GREENCASTLE FOR THE YEAR 2020
BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of Greencastle, Indiana, that th: following
total sum of all monies shall be payable beginning Janluary 1, 2020 through Decemb:r 31, 2020:
SECTION ONE: That the salaries of elected officials of the City of Gree castle shall
be as follows:
Mayor $62,400.00
Clerk-Treasurer $58,320.00
Common Council (7) $6,078.00 each for a total of$42,546.00
SECTION TWO: That the General Fund shall pay to the Mayor of the Ci y of
Greencastle for services rendered by the Mayor on behalf of the General Fund durin the year
2020 the sum of$20,800.00. The Mayor will receive the same amount of bonus as t e other
fulltime employees and it will be split 1/3 and paid on behalf of the General Fund.
That the General Fund shall pay to the Clerk-Treasurer of the City of Greenca tle for
services rendered by the Clerk-Treasurer on behalf of the General Fund during the y ar 2020
the sum of$19,440.00. The Clerk Treasurer will receive the same amount of bonus s the other
fulltime employees and it will be split 1/3 and paid on behalf of the General Fund.
That the General Fund shall pay to each member of the Common Council of the City of
Greencastle for services rendered by the Common Council on behalf of the General Fund during
the year 2020 the sum of$4,558.50.
SECTION THREE: That the Department of Water Works shall pay to the Mayor of
the City of Greencastle for services rendered by the Mayor on behalf of the Department of
Water Works during the year 2020 the sum of$20,800.00. The Mayor will receive th same
amount of bonus as the other fulltime employees and it will be split 1/3 and paid on ehalf of
the Water Works.
That the Department of Water Works shall pay to the Clerk-Treasurer of the ity of
Greencastle for services rendered by the Clerk-Treasurer on behalf of the Departmen of Water
Works during the year 2020 the sum of$19,440.00. The Clerk Treasurer will receive he same
amount of bonus as the other fulltime employees and it will be split 1/3 and paid on ehalf of
the Water Works.
That the Department of Water Works shall pay to each member of the Common Council
of the City of Greencastle for services rendered by the Common Council of behalf of the
Department of Water Works during the year 2020 the Sum of$759.75.
SECTION FOUR: That the Department of Sewage shall pay to the Mayor f the City
of Greencastle for services rendered by the Mayor on behalf of the Department of Se age
during the year 2020 the sum of$20,800.00. The Mayor will receive the same amou t of bonus
as the other fulltime employees and it will be split 1/3 and paid on behalf of the Department of
Sewage

That the Department of Sewage shall pay to the Clerk-Treasurer of the City if
Greencastle for services rendered by the Clerk-Treasurer on behalf of the Departm=nt of
Sewage during the year 2020 the sum of$19,440.00.IThe Clerk Treasurer will receiv- the same
amount of bonus as the other fulltime employees and it will be split 1/3 and paid o behalf of
the Department of Sewage.
That the Department of Sewage shall pay to each member of the Common souncil of
the City of Greencastle for services rendered by the Common Council on behalf oft e
Department of Sewage during the year 2020 the sumof$759.75.

day of 2019.
