AN ORDINANCE RELATING TO DOGS; AMENDING SECTIONS
5-4-1 AND 5-4-2 OF THE VILLAGE CODE OF McCALL,
IDAHO, TO PROVIDE FOR A LICENSE FEE INSTEAD OF A
LICENSE TAX, AND AMENDING CHAPTER 4 OF TITLE V OF
THE VILLAGE CODE OF McCALL, IDAHO, BY THE ADDITION
OF A NEW SECTION 5-4-3A, OF THE VILLAGE CODE OF
McCALL, IDAHO, TO REQUIRE A CURRENT RABIES VACCIN-
ATION TO OBTAIN A DOG LICENSE.
BE IT ORDAIN:D BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF McCALL, IDAHO, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That Section 5-4-1 of the Village Code of
McCall, Idaho, be, and the same is hereby amended to read
as follows:
5-4-1: LICENSE; 'AX FEE: It shall be unlawful for any
person to own or keep or harbor any dog, male or female,
within the City without paying a license tax fee therefor
as herein provided.
Section 2. That Section 5-4--2 of the Village Code of
McCall, Idaho, be, and the same is hereby amended to read
as follows:

5-4-2: LICENSE; FEE; TERM: The license for every male
dog which has been neutered and every female dog which has
been spayed shall be five dollars ($5.00) and for every female
dog not spayed and for every male dog not neutered ten dollars
($10.00) per year. No license tax fee shall be paid for less
that one year.
Section 3. That Chanter 4 of Title V of the Village Code
of McCall, Idaho, be, and the same is hereby amended by the
addition thereto of a New Section, to be known and designated
as Section 5-4-3A of the Village Code of McCall, Idaho, and
to read as follows:
5-4-3A: RABIES VACCINATION: No license shall be issued
for any dog unless the owner or person in charge of such dog
shall present to the clerk at the time of payment of the above
stated license fee for such dog, a certificate of a licensed
veterinarian that such dog has been currently vaccinated for
rabies.

1. That pursuant to the provisions of Section 50-207, Idaho
Code, I keep a correct journal of the proceedings of the Council of
McCall City, Idaho, and that I am the statutory custodian of all laws,
ordinances and resolutions of said City.
2. That the attached Ordinance No. 4." is a true and correct
copy of an ordinance p ssed at a regular meeting of the Council of
McCall City held on /', 191,, and duly recorded in my
office; and U
3. That said regular meeting was duly convened and held in all
respects in accordance with law and to the extent required by law, due
and proper notice of such meeting having been given; that a legal
quorum was present throughout the meeting and that a legally
sufficient number of members of the Council of McCall City voted in
the proper manner and for the passage of said ordinance; and that all
other requirements and proceedings incident to the proper adoption and
passage of said ordinance have been duly fulfilled, carried out and
observed; and that I am authorized to execute this certificate.
