A RESOLUTION OF THE McCALL CITY COUNCIL, VALLEY COUNTY, IDAHO
REPEALING ANY AND ALL EXISTING COMPREHENSIVE PLANS AND LAND
USE DESIGNATION MAPS; ADOPTING THE McCALL AREA
COMPREHENSIVE PLAN; AFFIRMING THAT PRESCRIBED NOTICE AND
HEARING REQUIREMENTS WERE MET IN ACCORDANCE WITH TITLE 67,
CHAPTER 65, IDAHO CODE; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the McCall City Council adopted the General Plan for the City
of McCall in 1974; and
WHEREAS, the McCall City Council adopted the Comprehensive Plan for
the McCall Area of City Impact in 1979; and
WHEREAS, on September 28, 1979, the Valley County Board of County
Commissioners passed Ordinance 2-79, adopting the same Comprehensive
Plan for the McCall Area of City Impact; and
WHEREAS, the McCall Area Comprehensive Plan public involvement
process included sending mailings; holding public workshops; providing legal
notice; transmitting notice to other jurisdictions, agencies, and entities; and
holding public hearings; and
WHEREAS, the City of McCall Planning & Zoning Commission and the
McCall Area of Impact Planning & Zoning Commission held duly -noticed public
hearings on the McCall Area Comprehensive Plan on April 25 and May 16, 2000;
and
WHEREAS, the City of McCall Planning & Zoning Commission and the
McCall Area of Impact Planning & Zoning Commission recommended adoption
of the McCall Area Comprehensive Plan, subject to certain amendments, on May
16, 2000; and
WHEREAS, the McCall City Council and Valley County Board of
Commissioners held a duly -noticed public hearing on the McCall Area
Comprehensive Plan on June 13, 2000; and
WHEREAS, the McCall City Council and Valley County Board of
Commissioners developed certain amendments to the McCall Area
Comprehensive Plan; and
WHEREAS, the McCall City Council, by motion, approved the McCall
Area Comprehensive Plan, subject to certain amendments, on June 22, 2000;
and

WHEREAS, the Valley County Board of Commissioners, by motion,
approved the McCall Area Comprehensive Plan, subject to certain amendments,
on June 26, 2000; and
WHEREAS, Section 67-6509(b) of the Idaho Code, provides that the City
Council and Board of County Commissioners may adopt, amend or repeal a
Comprehensive Plan.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF McCALL, IDAHO:
Section 1: The McCall City Council hereby finds that the McCall Area
Comprehensive Plan, as amended and approved by the Council on June
22, 2000, complies with the provisions of Section 67-6508 of the Idaho
Code.
Section 2: The McCall City Council hereby repeals any and all existing
Comprehensive Plans and Land Use Designation Maps and adopts the
attached McCall Area Comprehensive Plan.
Section 3: This Resolution shall be in full force and effect immediately
upon its adoption and approval.
