AUTHORIZING THE AWARD OF A CONTRACT FOR UNIFORM
RENTAL SERVICES
WHEREAS, the town solicited and received competitive sealed bids for the provision of uniform
rental services for the personnel of the Department of Public Works and Department of Utilities; and
WHEREAS, Unifirst Corporation submitted the lowest bid; and
WHEREAS, Unifirst Corporation has been determined to be the lowest responsive and
responsible bidder.
THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg as follows:
The town manager is authorized to execute a contract for uniform rental services on behalf of
the town with Unifirst Corporation for an initial period of thirteen months, effective June 1, 1994, with
the provision for renewal by mutual agreement for four additional one-year terms.
