RESOLUTION NO. 68 -843
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF TEMPLE CITY INDICATING ITS IN-
TENTION TO REZONE CERTAIN PROPERTY
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY DOES
RESOLVE:
SECTION 1. The City Council finds and determines, based
on the Planning Commission recommendation and public hearing
held thereon, that it intends to rezone the following de-
scribed property from Zone R -1 to Zone R -3:
Lot 34, Parcels 16 and 17, Mission View
Acres, Book 12, p. 150 of Maps in the Office
of the County Recorder, County of Los Angeles,
State of California (more commonly known as
9619 thru 9633 East Broadway).
The City Council further finds that such rezoning is
not now feasible for the reason that the property is frag-
mented and diversified in ownership, thus providing for
less than optimum R -3 development.
SECTION 2. Therefore, said City Council holds this
matter in abeyance for a period of one year in order to per-
mit the owners of said property to consolidate such ownership,
at which time the City Council will adopt an ordinance to
rezone such property.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption
of this Resolution.
ADOPTED AND APPROVED this 6th day of August
1968.

a regular meeting held on the 6th day of August
1968 by the following vote of the Council:
AYES: Councilmen - Beckley, Harker, Merritt, Briggs
NOES: Councilmen -None
ABSENT: Councilman- Tyrell
