Dear Dr. Macklin:
The City of Jefferson has not received information pertaining to your administration of the estate
of the above-referenced property owned by your brother, Norris E. Macklin, 706 East Miller
Street, Jefferson City, Missouri. I am enclosing copies of past correspondence regarding this
matter for your reference.
There are currently three outstanding special tax bills on this property owed to the City of
Jefferson, and which have been attached as liens on the property at the Cole County Collector's
office. We still do not have the documentation requested to authorize us to forward these tax bills
to you as your brother's estate administrator. Please be advised that if the taxes are not paid
within a certain time limit established by state statute, the property may be sold by the County to
pay the taxes.
We would appreciate hearing from you so that we may forward the tax bills to you for your
disposition. If you have any questions, please let me know.

I am in receipt of your certified letter requesting tax bills on the above-referenced
property on behalf of your brother, Mr. Norris E. Macklin. The City's attorney has
advised me that before I can release such information, I need to receive a copy of the
probate court order naming you administrator of your brother's estate.
As soon as the court order is received, proper arrangements will be made to refer
future City transactions with you on behalf of your brother.
