AWARDING CONTRACTS TO MOUNCEY FERGUSON AND
ASSOCIATES AND DAYDREAM DESIGN FOR THE TOWN'S
ADVERTISING AND GRAPHIC DESIGN WORK
WHEREAS, the Town's newly adopted Strategic Plan for Economic Development calls for
the creation of an annual advertising campaign and development of new promotional materials; and
WHEREAS, the FY 95 Budget includes an appropriation to fund the advertising and graphic
design campaign; and
WHEREAS, a request for proposals was duly advertised and proposals received on May 9,
1994, pursuant to state and local procurement laws; and
WHEREAS, finalists were selected by staff and interviewed by a Selection Committee and
and the Mouncey Ferguson & Associates and Daydream Design proposal was chosen as the most
qualified team for this work; and
WHEREAS, successful contract negotiations were achieved between the Town and the two
firms:
THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia as follows:
The Town Manager is hereby authorized and directed to execute annual contracts to both
Mouncey Ferguson & Associates and Daydream Design for completion of the Town's advertising
and graphic design work within the authorized appropriations.
