1. Call to Order
Chair Larry Brandhorst called the meeting to order at 9:35 am.
2. Introductions
The committee members introduced themselves.
3. Technical sub-committee expectations – what is expected from the sub-committee?
The committee is being asked to review the 2015 versions of the International Building and
Energy Conservation codes. Considerable discussion was done on value of the code review by
members of the community.
4. Technical sub-committee reports – what should be reported back and in what form?
The sub-committee will have minutes produced and eventually an ordinance drafted.
5. What is necessary to update the Steering Committee from the sub-committee?
The committee’s chair and vice chair will report back to the Steering Committee since they are
members of that committee.
6. What physical form of the code should be used?
The members chose a PDF version of the code to use for their review.
7. New business
The members will review Chapter 3 of the code to review next time.
8. Public Comments
No public comments were made.
9. Next Meeting date?
The next meeting date will be May 18, 2016.
10. Adjourn
The meeting adjourned at 11:18 am
