1. Call to Order
Chair Jim Wisch called the meeting to order at 10:02 am.
2. Review and approve minutes from the meeting held on April 14, 2016.
The minutes were approved.
3. Review Chapters 1-3
a. A discussion was held about adoption of the code versus adopting the code &
commentary.
b. There was considerable discussion over Chapter 1. This chapter will be gone back to
after the review of the other code chapters.
c. Chapter 2 has definitions that will be used in the rest of the chapters. Discussion was
held about augmenting the definitions for historic districts, change of occupancy, and
substantial damage.
d. Chapter 3 was discussed briefly since this was an introductory chapter to the rest of the
code. The different methods of analysis were identified.
4. Old Business
No old business was discussed.
5. New Business
Review next time was decided to be Chapters 4, 5, and 6.

No public comments were made.
7. Next meeting date
The next meeting date will be May 17, 2016.
8. Adjourn
The meeting adjourned at 12 pm.
