HomeMy Public PortalAboutResolutions-2010-08CITY OF TIFFIN, IOWA RESOLUTION NO. 2010-08 A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE RE -PLATED PRELIMINARY PLAT OF WOODFIELD RIDGE PART ONE, OUTLOT ONE, A SUBDIVISION TO TIFFIN, IOWA NOW KNOWN AS WOODFIELD RIDGE ONE PART TWO AND AUTHORIZING AS NECESSARY THE REVISED SUBDIVIDER'S AGREEMENT WITH WOODFIELD RIDGE, L.L.C. WHEREAS, Woodfield Ridge, L.L.C., a limited liability company, has filed with the City of Tiffin a revised preliminary plat for Woodfield Ridge Development Part One, Outlot One, a sub -division to the City of Tiffin, Iowa, legally described on attached Exhibit "A", hereby incorporated and WHEREAS, The Tiffin Planning and Zoning Commission has reviewed and approved the revised preliminary plat at the December 2, 2009 meeting as per Woodfield Ridge's Re -Zoning request for Part One Outlot One from all multi -family units to a mixed use to include four single family units and one duplex unit and one four plex unit. WHEREAS, City Attorney, Stephen Greenleaf, has given his approval of the revised preliminary plat as requested by Woodfield Ridge L.L.C. for Part One Outlot One as per their Re -Zoning request for Outlot One. WHEREAS, City Engineer, Michael Hart, has given his approval of said re -plated preliminary plat for Part One Outlot One, subject to certain revisions: and provided however that no improvements shall be constructed or installed without his written approval, which may be withheld until such time as all necessary permits have been issued from the state and federal agencies; and FURTHER, THE City desires to formally signify itisapproval of the re -plated preliminary plat now known as Woodfield Ridge Outlot One Part Two and authorizing the revised Subdivider's Agreement for Woodfield Ridge Part One Outlot One to include the changes as appropriate to include Outlot One Part Two. NOW, THERFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, BY THE City Council of Tiffin, Iowa, that the re -plated Preliminary Plat, as amended, for Woodfield Ridge Part One Outlot One is hereby approved; and further that the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute all related legal documents, and that the City shall properly record this Resolution 2010-08 and the revised Sub -Dividers Agreement. That the lots within the revised Woodfield Ridge Part One Outlot One shall be zoned according to the official zoning map for the City of Tiffin, Iowa the re - plated Part One Outlot One as Woodfield Ridge Part Two. On the 10th day of March, 2010 at a regular City Council meeting Council person Gericke introduced Resolution 2010-08 A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE REPLATED PRELIMINARY PLAT OF WOODFIELD RIDGE PART ONE, OUTLOT ONE, A SUBDIVISION TO TIFFIN, IOWA NOW KNOWN AS WOODFIELD RIDGE PART TWO AND AUTHORIZING AS NECESSARY THE REVISED SUBDIVIDER'S AGREEMENT WITH WOODFIELD RIDGE, L.L.C. and made a motion for approval. The motion was seconded by Councilperson Ball. Ayes: Chris Ball, Jim Bartels, Mike Gericke, Mark Petersen, and Travis Weipert. Nays: None. Absent: None. WHEREUPON Five Council members voted for approval, Mayor Phillips declared the motion carried and approved Resolution 2010-08.be adopted and signified his approval of the same by affixing his signature thereto.
