HomeMy Public PortalAboutOrd. 539 Water Connection Fee" ORDINANCE NO. .3'3 y AN ORDINANCE RELATING TO WATER CONNECTION FEES; AMENDING SECTION 8-1-10 OF THE VILLAGE CODE OF McCALL, IDAHO, INCREASING THE CITY STANDARD WATER SERVICE CONNECTION FEE; AND AMENDING SECTION 8-1-52 OF THE VILLAGE CODE OF McCALL, IDAHO, INCREASING THE STANDARD WATER SERVICE CONNECTION FEE FOR EACH DWELLING UNIT IN MULTIPLE FAMILY DWELLING STRUCTURES. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF McCALL, IDAHO, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. That Section 8-1-10 of the Village Code of McCall, Idaho, be, and the same is hereby amended to read as follows: 8-1-10: CONNECTION - EXPENSE: A standard service connection which shall be supplied by the City at a cost of twe six hundred fifty dollars ($2650.00) to the consumer, shall be construed to be one of three --quarter inch (3/4") nominal internal diameter, ex- tending from the main to the property line, and including the necessary tap or shut off, tapping saddle, pipe, fittings, City curb cock and curb box, meter and meter box where latter is neces- sary. Where connections of greater capacity are reauired for any purpose, all excess costs of service shall be charged to the consumer, and the sum paid into the working fund of the Water Department. Section 2. That Section 8-1-52 of the Village Code of McCall, Idaho, be, and the same is hereby amended to read as follows: 8-1-52: CONNECTION FEES; IULTIPLE FAMILY DWELLING STRUCTURES: A separate standard water service connection fee of twe six hundred fifty dollars ($2650.00) shall be paid to the City for each and every family dwelling unit in any and all condominiums, apartment houses, townhouses and any and all other multiple family dwelling structures.
