Special Session inutes
August 27, 2019 6:00 P.M. Greencastle City Hall
I. Call to Order
Mayor Bill Dory called the meeting to orthr at 6:00 PM; upon roll by lerk
Treasurer Lynda Dunbar the following were present: Adam Cohen, Steve
Fields, Mark Hammer, Gary Lemon, and lave Murray. Stacie Lang on and
Tyler Wade absent. I
Board of Park Commissioners in Attenda ce: John Hennette, Cathy Merrill,
Joanna Muncie. David Tayler and Tim T igg absent
II. New Business
A. Discussion of New Improvements in the Park
• Update on tennis and pickle ball co rts. It has been decided th t the
courts could be fixed by adding mor- rock to the base and addi ional
drainage around the courts. The Board of Park Commissioner agrees
with the proposed construction cha ges to the courts.
• Pool Financial Report was given to she Common Council and t e Board of
Park Commissioners.
• Mayor Dory provided a proposed lis of park and recreation im rovements
and their funding sources. Those sources would be EDIT, RD /TIF and
GO Bond Issue.
Motion was made by Dave Murray to e gage in a legal and financial service
to pursue the GO Bond, second by Ste e Fields, 6-0 motion carried.
Adjournment
Motion was made by Gary Lemon to adjourn the meeting at 8:15 pm,
second Mark Hammer , 6-0, motion card,-o
