THE CITY OF BEL AIRE, KANSAS
ORDINANCE NO. /? 0
AN ORDINANCE MAKING IT UNLAWFUL FOR
ANY PERSON TO SWIM, BATHE OR WADE IN
EAGLE LAKE AND PROVIDING PENALTIES
THEREFORE .
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF BEL
AlRE:
section 1.
swimming in Eagle Lake Prohibited.
It is unlawful for any person to swim, bathe or wade in Eagle
Lake in the City of Bel Aire.
section 2.
Penalty.
Any person who violates this Ordinance shall be deemed guilty
of an unclassified misdemeanor and upon being found guilty shall
be sentenced to a definite term of confinement which shall be
fixed by the Court and shall not exceed one (1) month and may be
fined a sum not exceeding Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00), or
both.
section 3.
Effective Date
This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect upon its
publication in the official City newspaper.
