A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE
CITY, CALIFORNIA, CONSENTING TO ESTABLISHMENT OF A
PORTION OF TEMPLE CITY BLVD. WITHIN SAID CITY AS A PART
OF THE SYSTEM OF COUNTY HIGHWAYS OF THE COUNTY OF LOS
ANGELES
WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors did on October 30, 1968,
duly adopt a resolution declaring Temple City Boulevard between
Live Oak Avenue and Duarte Road as a part of the system of highways
of the County of Los Angeles, all as provided in Sections 1700 to
1704, inclusive, of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of
California; and
WHEREAS, said Board of Supervisors by said resolution request-
ed this Council to give its consent to improve said road within
said portion described above:
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Temple City
does resolve as follows:
SECTION 1. Consent to Inclusion in County Highway System.
This City Council does hereby consent to the establishment of Temple
City Blvd., between Live Oak Avenue and Duarte Avenue as a part of
the system of highways of the County of Los Angeles as provided in
Sections 1700 to 1704, inclusive, of the Streets and Highways Code
of the State of California.
SECTION 2. Improvements of Road.
Consent is hereby given for the improvement of and /or acquisition
of right of way for the above described road by the County of
Los Angeles, in conformity with its standard plans and specifica-
tions for such a road, or such other plans and specifications as
may be approved by this City Council.
SECTION 3. Finding of minor nature.
This City Council does hereby find that pursuant to Government Code,
Section 65402 (b), the aforesaid improvement and /or acquisition of
right of way is for street widening and /or alignment of a minor
nature and that, therefore, the provisions of said Section requir-
ing the submission to and report upon said project by the City
Planning Agency do not apply.
SECTION 4. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of
this Resolution.

held on the 5th day of November, 1968, by the following vote:
