A RESOLUTION OF THE CARSON CITY COUNCIL AMENDING THE FISCAL
YEAR 2020-21 BUDGET FOR FAMILY SUPPORT PREVENTION
WHEREAS, the City Council adopted the City's Fiscal Year (FY) 2020-21 budget on June
16, 2020; and
WHEREAS, the South Bay Center for Counseling (SBCC) has been providing funds for
the Prevention and Aftercare Program since 2015; and
WHEREAS, this program is designed to strengthen family resilience and nurture the
development of healthy behaviors; and
WHEREAS, for the first two months of calendar year 2021, the City will be receiving an
additional $10,000.00 in grant funding to support this endeavor; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to amend FY 2020-21 budget.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARSON DOES HEREBY
RESOLVE, FIND, DETERMINE, AND ORDER AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The following amendments will be made to the City's budget:

(expenses)
Section 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this resolution and shall keep a copy
of this resolution attached to the FY 2020-21 budget on file, and effective as of January 26, 2021, the
same shall be in force and effect.
