King St. Leesburg, VA 22075 Dear Chairman Barton: The enclosed resolution endorses the County Planning Commission action of March 23, 1995, which retained the transportation proffers of ZMAP 1994-0001, ZCPZ 1994-0002, SPEX 1994-0002, Lansdowne. The construction of the interchange at Route 641 and Route 7 is an important element of the Route 7 Corridor Transportation Plan and essential to ensure a free flow of traffic on Route 7. This transportation improvement is also necessary to ensure effective economic development for Leesburg and will assist in implementing the town's comprehensive plan. The town agrees with the county staff's concern that the interchange may not be constructed when it is warranted if the proffers are modified. Thank you for any consideration. Sincerely, · Clem Mayor cc: Leesburg Town Council
