MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FROM THE GENERAL FUND
UNAPPROPRIATEDFUND BALANCE INTO THE AIRPORT FUND FOR
CONTRACT SNOW REMOVAL SERVICES
WHEREAS, Town Council Resolution No. 94-251 authorized the privatization of snow removal
services at the Leesburg Municipal Airport for the 1994-1995 winter season; and
WHEREAS, Blake Landscapes, Inc. provided timely and quality snow removal services for the
Town of Leesburg; and
WHEREAS, the Town Council was kept informed of the snow removal contract service costs on
a monthly basis; and
WHEREAS, Resolution 94-251 further authorized the reimbursement to the Airport Fund, for
this previously unbudgeted expense, for actual snow removal costs at the end of the season; and
WHEREAS, a total of $12,220.00 was paid from the Airport Fund contractual services account
for winter snow removal costs:
THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia as follows:
An appropriation of $12,220.00 is hereby made from the unappropriated General Fund balance
into the Airport Fund contractual services account #600.6000.300.300 for reimbursement of privately
contracted snow removal services at the Leesburg Municipal Airport.
