SETTING REAL
RATES FOR 1995

PROPERTY AND PERSONAL PROPERTY
TAX
WHEREAS, the town manager has submitted a budget to the Leesburg Town Council for
the fiscal year ending June 30, 1996, without the need for an increase in tax rates for real property
and personal property for 1995 taxes; and
WHEREAS, it is the Council's desire that the real property and personal property tax rates
for 1995 remain unchanged:
THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia as follows:
SECTION I. The tax rate on all real property, vehicles used as mobile homes or offices and
public service corporation real property shall be $0.205 per $100 of assessed valuation.
SECTION II. The tax rate on all tangible personal property and public service corporation
personal property shall be $1.00 per $100 of assessed valuation.
SECTION III. The tax rate on aircraft and motor vehicles owned by individuals qualifying
for tax relief shall be $0.001 per $100 of assessed valuation.
