AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 9 OF THE CITY OF GREENCASTLE CODE
REGARDING SEPTAGE RATES
WHEREAS, the City accepts septage from numerous individuals, within and outside of the
City: and
WHEREAS, to remain competitive in accepting and processing septage, a change in the
processing charge is needed.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of
Greencastle that it hereby amends Chapter 9 -25.d. of the Greencastle City Code as follows:
Section 9 -25.
d. The charge for acceptance and treatment of septage shall be $.07 per gallon.
All other terms and conditions contained within Chapter 9 of the Greencastle City Code
which are not inconsistent herewith shall remain in full force and effect.
PASSEA AND ORDAINED by the Common Council ofthe City of Greencastle at its regular
meeting this day of November 2010.
