HomeMy Public PortalAboutTOL PR 2011-11-02 L Gifts ribbon cutting Town of Leesburg News Release For Immediate Release L Gifts & Home Furnishings Celebrates Grand Opening in Historic Downtown Leesburg on November 4, 2011 Leesburg, VA (November 2, 2011) – At 5:30 pm, on Friday, November 4, 2011, Town of Leesburg officials will hold a ribbon cutting ceremony for the grand opening of L Gifts & Home Furnishings at 11 West Market Street in Leesburg. Leesburg Mayor Kristen C. Umstattd will officiate. L Gifts & Home Furnishings features a collection of unique and eclectic finds in furniture, home accessories and décor, gourmet foods and wine. Owner JoAnn Schimmel carries quality product lines including Hancock & Moore, Mixture USA, Votivo, The Gracious Gourmet, Harney & Sons Tea, Savannah Bee Company, L’Epicurean, Taza Chocolates and more. Scheduled to coincide with November’s First Friday event in Historic Downtown Leesburg, the grand opening event for L Gifts & Home Furnishings will feature a tasting of wine and Italian gourmet food selections offered in the store. “I’m drawn to things that are different and products you are not likely to find in many other places. I also look for unique items with a great story, like the pieces made from hand-carved reclaimed lumber, said Schimmel. “I am very excited to share these really great finds,” she continued. “I am grateful for the warm response from those who have visited the shop since September.
