Wayne Neddermayer - Mayor in Chair Priscilla Arens - Clerk Wayne Neddermeyer, Raymond Bosch, Donald Des Lauriers and Arthur Theis present. The minutes of the Council of the Village of Medina meeting_of May 5th and 6th, 1970 read. Moved by Donald Des Lauriers that the minutes be approved as read. Seconded by Arthur Theis Motion carried. Minutes of the Planning Commission meeting of May 18, 1970 read. ao Moved by Donald Des Lauriers to give Mr. Mills�totsppreaatthe County Aid to Municipalities over a period of three years for black topping Willow Drive. Seconded_by Raymond Bosch Motion carried. Dr. Elliott Karpeles appeared with the preliminary plat of his property. Moved by Donald Des Lauriers to grant preliminary approval for his plat. Seconded by Arthur Theis Motion carried. Bill Torodor appeared with regard to the fencing at the out -door Theater also discussed the damages caused by the sewer contractors and read the copy of the letter which he had written to Barbarossa and Sons. Allen Engelman and a delegation from Medina -Morning side to ask to have something done about the dog situation. George Gubbins is to look up the licensing and leashing laws of other villages. A letter from George Gubbins explaining pollution law as affects Medina. Moved by Arthur Theis to pay $25.00 to the Henn. County Agricultural Society for the County Fair fund. Seconded by Donald Des Lauriers Motion carried. A letter from George Favorite with regard to the Rolling Green sign was read. George Gubbins informed the Council that Mr. Favorite signed a quit claim deed for 17 feet along north side of his property and it now belongs to the Village. A copy of a letter from Anne Dorweiler to Hiyor Frank Larkin of Corcoran with regard to names for streets extending into Corcoran was read. Art Theis reported that Doug Sorenson and Jim Courtney have lodged a complaint with regard to the neighbor's sewer. The matter is to be checked. Letter from the Office of the Administrator of Hennepin County with regard to Advancement of tax collections was read. Discussion with regard to the problems with regard to the sewer in the Hamel area. D. Des Lauriers especially mentioned the condition of the sidewalks. Announcement made of the Minnesota League of Municipalities 56th Annual Convention on June 10, 11, 12, 1970 at the Duluth Arena -Auditorium. Announcement of the Hennepin County League of Municipalities meeting on June 4, 1970 at 8 P. M. at the St. Louis Park City Hall was made. The summer schedule of the Suburban Recreation Association was given to Art Theis - recreation chairman. Moved by Raymond Bosch to pay the bills as follows: payroll $5,245.49 and order checks $4,776.01. Seconded by Arthur Theis Motion carried. Moved by Raymond Bosch that the meeting adjourn.
