TOWN OF BREWSTER MINUTES OF PLANNING BOARD
Tuesday, March 16, 2004 7:00 P.M.
Brewster Town Office Building
1. Present: Chairman Taylor convened the Planning Board meeting at 7:OOPM in the Brewster
Town Office Building with members Pierce, Linda Bugle, Bob Bugle, McMullen and Remy
present.
2. APPROVAL NOT REQUIRED #2004-09 — Zagoriankos- off Maury Lane on
Assessors' Map 25 Lot 42-1 — proposed division of 1 lot into 2. Present Tim Brady
East Cape Engineering.
3. Motion by McMullen, Pierce second "Approve the ANR plan #2004-09", all voted in
favor.
4. MODIFICATION OF A SPECIAL PERMIT #SP2002-03 CORRIDOR OVERLAY
PROTECTION DISTRICT BYLAW — CARDINAL, DON — Located off Independence
Way on Assessors' Map 27, Lot 2101-2. — Constructed a 50 x 60 metal building with 1
bedroom apartment — in place of the approved cedar shingle siding, the applicant is
proposing more screening
5. Chairman Taylor opened the hearing by reading the legal advertisement and making the applicant
and parties in interest aware of their rights to appeal as required under Chapter 40A, Section 17.
She stated that during the hearing any member of the Board or interested party may direct
questions through the Chairman to a speaker relating to the proposal. She asked the applicant to
make his presentation.
6. Cardinal — we request a modification of the original special permit section regarding Covenant
and Conditions part 3- The proposed building will be a 50' x 60' metal building, dark green matte
finish, with wood shingles on the southwest and rear sides of the building. We request that the
board waive the requirement for the wood shingles and allow extra planting as a buffer. The
monetary savings would be substantial.
7. There were no comments from other Town Boards or Departments. There were no letters, pro or
con,read at the hearing. Nor did any abutter ask to be heard.
8. On a motion by Pierce, McMullen second "approve Application # SP2004-07 for a modification
of approval of a Special Permit SP2002- 02 voted on May 8, 2002, with a Landscaping plan to be
submitted. 5 in favor, 1 oppose(Bob Bugle).
